Molly lived in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally in the teen years at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after performing in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she was awarded the Barrymore Award nomination. She went on to reprise the role in her Broadway debut at age 15 with Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. She was also nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly performed in Broadway during the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Then, she attended Princeton University and was a member of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008. in Religious Studies. In that time she made her acting debut in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Following graduation, Molly performed in several Off-Broadway shows, such as End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and in some TV shows, including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly participated involved in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in 2010 Westport Country Playhouse's performance of The Diary of Anne Frank which she performed as Anne. Molly has starred in several regional productions, including The Diary of Anne Frank in Westport Country Playhouse's production in 2010. She performed the role of the teenage daughter Ali.
